The South Beach neighborhood of San Francisco is an area that has undergone dramatic change in the past few years. Located to the east of the South of Market Area (SOMA) neighborhood, it is a San Francisco neighborhood that is filled almost exclusively with condos for sale.
The condos in the South Beach neighborhood of San Francisco are a mix of quirky and unique conversion lofts as well as more recent modern luxury condo construction like The Metropolitan,The Infinity and One Rincon Hill. Buildings like the Oriental Warehouse, 355 Bryant and 1 Federal are home to some of the most unique and compelling loft conversion condos that you will find anywhere in San Francisco. These condos offer a unique combination of materials, layout, and finishes, with almost no two condos being exactly the same thanks to the way they were built-out and finished when sold by the original developers.
If, on the other hand, your idea of South Beach living is filled with luxurious amenities then you'll be glad to know that some of San Francisco's most recently built homes can be found in this neighborhood. One Rincon Hill offers luxury living with some spectacular views. I'm not a huge fan of the location (I think that walking to and from the building is tempting fate, since the building is situated at a major on-ramp/off-ramp for the bay bridge/I-80). If you don't want to feel as though you are risking your life every time you cross the street, then you may also want to consider the recently completed condos at The Infinity. The condos there also offer an incredible range of amenities (club room, gym, pool, concierge, to name just a few) and also have some spectacular water or city views depending on where in the building you are.
Much of the proposed residential development in the coming years is slated to occur in this part of town, so it will continue to grow and evolve as a hub of residential life in the city throughout the years to come!
